Midway State- Change For You

So here we fall, and here we break
and all that we had, is now just a mistake.
I guess it got boring and old,
So what have you done, you left me alone

You got your things, you got them all,
You know theres nothing you wont have,
and Im afraid I dont got the cash,
to keep you happy, and not sad,
cause you show me that your not free, that you need big fat limosines,
to keep you high, to keep you safe, keep you in love.

What if i change for you, then will you see me, still with you.
I 'd never do it; Im no fool.

So here we fall, and here love breaks
And all that we had, is now just a mistake.
You look so young, feel so misled
And your stuffy friends have gone to your head

You got your things, you got them all,
You know theres nothing you wont have,
and Im afraid I dont got the cash,

[ From: http://www.metrolyrics.com/change-for-you-lyrics-the-midway-state.html ]

to keep you happy, and not sad,
cause you show me that your not free, that you need big fat limosines,
to keep you high, to keep you safe, keep you in love.

What if i change for you, then will you see me, still with you.
I 'd never do it; Im no fool.

Honey Im not you.

I walk away, thinking back to the days, that I held you close
with your puffy white coat, and you told me joe, I could never let go
"I need you more, then life it's self", and the rain poured down
and I kept you dry, and I took the tears fallen from your eyes, and the snow came down
and I kept you warm, and I kept you safe from your daddys storm, when he said to you
that you cant see me, "oh this poor boy's got nothing good to be", now they got to you,
and what do you say, you want some rich guy instead of me.

What if i change for you, then will you see me, still with you.
I 'd never do it; Im no fool.

eOmi's Brain

Over the weekend I had the pleasure of watching 'Batman Forever'. This being the film that features 'The Riddler' as one of Batman's nemesis. In one scene Bruce Wayne(Batman) is hooked up to a machine built by 'The Riddler'. The purpose of the meachine is to project the user's inner most thoughts and secrets. I couldn't help but wonder, what type of images would eOmi's brain project?

Right now I am currently thinking about two things: 1) TIFF is about to begin and 2) How amazing 'THE SOCIETY' Toronto is. There must be something out there, some sort of publication that covers these amazing Toronto happenings and my inner most thoughts. If only Toronto had Voix de Ville :D

Matt Morris - Live Forever

Matt Morris was spawned from The Mickey Mouse Club back in the 90's. Unlike his other fellow Mouse Club members such as Britney and Justin, Matt decided to take time off to be a normal kid. Though his face and voice were out of the music scene,he has been penning songs for artists such as Kelly Clarkson and Justin Timberlake for quite sometime. Now signed to Tennman Records (Justin Timberlake's label) Matt is ready to take on the world.

Enjoy this eOmi song of the week.

Something is missing in Toronto....

Toronto is an amazing city filled with great people and culture. Yet so far it's missing something almost like it's lacking a voice. A voice for those in their mid twenties to early thirties, those who crave culture and want to be in the know about music, fashion, art, media and all things that make them tick.

If only someone would answer the cry of the city and provide it with VOIX de VILLE!!!!!!

Give me a break?

With flavors like pickled-plum soda, azuki bean, soy sauce and wasabi, the Japanese have definitley proved how boring our palettes in North America are!. The newest arrival is cherry-blossom green tea; a cream-filled wafer dipped in chartreuse-colored white chocolate.Yum!

Clean..Crisp.. Bland? NEVER!

As time progresses things evolve a tadpole into a frog...a boy into a man...and of course a person's style. Lately I have found myself very much into shades, rather then colours and patterns. With such an evolution I find myself maturing in taste. I have always been a fan of classic cars and architecture but now it has become an obsession.

For this transition I would like to thank the days of classic leading men such as James Dean. His talent and attire was never flashy or overly attention grabbing, his presence and charm spoke volumes alone. This throw back to a greater era makes my distaste for men who don't put effort into their appearance even stronger. I have always said a true test to a man's presence is if he can grab attention simply wearing a white t-shirt and jeans(a great fit of course).

WELCOME BACK TO TORONTO RYAN!

She's BACK!

The girl and the zip code that only spells out trouble is coming back for it's 3rd season.

Stay tuned to see what trouble Shenae Grimes and the rest of the cast of 90210 get up to. As long as Annie doesn't kill anyone else, I think Shenae's character is in for smooth sailing.

Also... Ms Grimes multi talented? A lot more to come from this Canadian beauty.

ONES TO WATCH... SHAY EDELL.. ONE HALF OF THE AVENUE STYLING!

SHAY EDELL

Shay began working in the Fashion Industry at age 16. Being hired as a full time sales associate, Shay climbed her way to the top within a year, holding responsibilities that included buying, visual merchandising, as well as running the store as a store manager. It was during this time, Shay realized that working in the fashion industry was the career path she wanted to pursue.

Shay studied in the Fashion Management program at George Brown College. As part of the course, she had to run a store with a small team. Her position was the ladieswear buyer. It was her responsibility to style mannequins as well as models for the store fashion shows. While attending George Brown, she also completed an internship as a wholesale representative during this time. After completing the program, Shay was chosen out of a large number of candidates to help run a Chanel fashion show, raising money for Sick Kids Hospital. Shay has continued to work in the fashion retail industry until she decided that with all of her experience, as well as her unique fashion sense, it was time to begin her own personal shopping/ styling company with best friend Jaimie.

eOmi song of the weekend!

NO- Time Like The Present For An Introduction.

No is a very strong word,in fact it was my first as a child. Throughout my life I heard the word over and over again. As years went on my parents began pairing it with other words to make it become more encouraging.

With eOmi I want to help you reach your goals. I will do so by using my networking and client relations skills to build up your brand, your project or even yourself. Working as partners we will deflate the negative meaning of NO and pair it with words to express your brands individuality and create buzz....NO one is like you, NObody can do the things you can, NO goal is too big or too small.
