Meet Lottie Moss
Boy it didn't take long for Kate Moss' half sister to take her first step into the world of modelling. Charlotte "Lottie" Moss, who is just 13-years-old, made a splash around the world when she was one of the bridesmaids in her big sister's wedding back in June. Lottie seemed to stand out for her doe eyes, ethereal looks and striking resemblance to Kate with whom she shares the same father, Pete Moss.

Style icon-Milan Vukmirovic
If Benjamin Franklin were alive today and had an interest in fashion and design, then he’d probably have a career very much like Milan Vukmirovic’s. The French designer has about a dozen other entries to add to his job description. First and foremost, Vukmirovic is the creative force behind the Italian luxury house Trussardi. Already in his second year with the leather brand, he’s brought his cool, refined aesthetic to menswear, luggage, and even a line of home furnishings. (His women’s collection for the label debuted this fall.) But, Vukmirovic is also a fashion photographer, who has shot campaigns for top brands like Armani, Hugo Boss, Lacoste, and Trussardi itself. He’s made use of his photo skills for his other career, as the editor of the quar¬terly magazine he launched in 2005, L’Officiel Hommes. And, in case anyone missed the man who once helped establish the Parisian store Colette as the premiere place to be caught shopping, Vukmirovic opened his own store, The Webster, (along with co-owners Laure Heriard Dubreuil and Frederic Dechnik) in Miami earlier this year. It’s not much of a surprise to learn that Vukmirovic designed the interior. What is surprising is that Vukmirovic found time to take a short vacation last summer, during which his friend, the artist Aaron Young, caught up with him to talk about how he manages to turn work into a 24-hour lifestyle.

Sean Avery- Stands up for gay rights in pro sports.
New York Rangers forward Sean Avery has a message for gay hockey players who are scared to come out: Pick up the phone and call him.
Avery, who is known to be one of the sporting world's more liberal athletes, says he'd be more than happy to serve as a support system for a gay player.
"If there's a kid in Canada or wherever, who is playing and really loves the game and wants to keep playing but he's worried about coming out, I'd tell him to pick up the phone and call [NHLPA executive director] Donald Fehr and tell him to book me a [plane] ticket," he told the Toronto Sun. "I'll stand beside him in the dressing room while he tells his teammates he is gay. Maybe if Sean Avery is there, they would have less of a problem with it."
Avery, who lived in West Hollywood when he played for the Los Angeles Kings and now lives in Chelsea, says he doesn't see the big deal about having an openly gay athlete in professional sports.
He says there are "probably a few gay players in the NHL, but I don't know if somebody has the courage [to come out]."

Lauren Conrad Is Too ‘Highbrow’ for MTV Now
Lauren "L.C." Conrad was the heroine of the seminal reality-television series Laguna Beach, and then the star of The Hills. But while other girls on MTV, er, evolved, Conrad stayed demure. Finally, she exited The Hills, leaving the gig to bustier, blonder women. Now Conrad (a published author, mind you) is just too damn smart for MTV altogether: Last fall, the network announced that it was reuniting with L.C. for another series focused on her burgeoning fashion line, but the network announced yesterday that it passed after filming. Conrad explained it this way: "We sold a show to MTV, filmed it and are really proud of the final result. MTV felt the subject matter was too high brow and offered me the opportunity to change the show by incorporating more of my personal life. MTV didn’t feel their viewers were savvy enough to appreciate it." Ouch! But we would have liked to see her rekindle the flame with Stephen.

100 Sled Dogs Killed
* THIS ARTICLE IS HORRIFYING! I NEEDED TO SHARE IT BECAUSE THIS IS INTOLERABLE!
Slumping tourism is being blamed for the alleged killing of 100 sled dogs in British Columbia.
Details came to light though documents related to a worker’s compensation claim.
The animals were reportedly killed in April 2010 by an employee of a Whistler outfitting company. Outdoor Adventures Whistler.
The unidentified man who filed the claim was compensated for post-traumatic stress disorder that he said was caused by the killings.
The man’s lawyer said the worker felt pressured by his employer to remedy a situation of having too many dogs to care for. Macri Moriarty, of the B.C. SPCA said greed was most likely behind the slaughter.
The company, Outdoor Adventures Whistler, claims there is an explanation but refused to disclose details to CBC News.

Article from Vogue.co.uk...Emmauelle Alt new Vogue editor
EMMANUELLE ALT has been unveiled today as French Vogue's new editor-in-chief. She will replace Carine Roitfeld, who held the position for 10 years, and will begin her new role on February 1.
"It is a great honour for me, and also a great pleasure, to arrive at the head of Vogue Paris which I know so well," Alt said today. "By working with such a talented team, I am confident of developing the incredible potential of the magazine."
SEE HER STYLE HERE
Alt has worked as fashion director under Roitfeld for the duration of her editorship. She began her career in 1990 at Elle - becoming fashion director aged 20 - before undertaking the same role at Mixte, where she worked until 2000.
"Vogue Paris is performing strongly and I wish to entrust the editor-in-chief position to someone who will ensure a certain continuity, while bringing a new energy and dimension," Xavier Romatet, president of Condé Nast France, said. "Emmanuelle has all the professional and personal qualities required to maintain Vogue Paris as a world reference among fashion magazines. Vogue Paris will remain the most important fashion, beauty and cultural magazine, working with the world's greatest photographers and stylists, who Emmanuelle knows perfectly. I totally trust her to manage this prestigious brand and develop it in all its dimensions, including digital."
Emmanuelle will work in close collaboration with Olivier Lalanne, deputy editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris, whose field of responsibility is widened. Lalanne will also oversee the editorial direction of the magazine Vogue Hommes International.

NEW YEAR NEW ME
Another year has come and gone. While reflecting on the year past I have noticed a trend in myself. I realize that I need to find balance, a balance between work life and friends. I have some of the most amazingly talented, thoughtful and beautiful friends a guy could ask for. 2011 will be the year that I appreciate them more and relish in the small moments.
May 2011 bring all of you love, peace and happiness.
Best Wishes,
Eric Omikunle
